During Since, an annual Quechua planting tradition, two farmers in the Peruvian village of Huaylacucho cover each other in corn flour. Photographer and National Geographic Explorer Florence Goupil (@florence.goupil) documented the playful ritual after growing up hearing stories about her grandmother's participation. “It was the first time I was able to see, with my own eyes, what my grandmother’s traditions looked like,” Goupil says.
