Midjourney Medical is being led by Ahmad Abbas, who joined the company in late 2023 after working on Apple’s Vision Pro hardware team. The project follows a November 2025 licensing deal that gave Midjourney exclusive rights to Butterfly Network’s ultrasound-on-chip technology.
