Meta is scheduled to begin production of its next-generation custom AI chip, code-named Iris, in September 2026. Designed in collaboration with Broadcom and manufactured by TSMC, the chip is built to optimize Meta’s internal AI workloads and reduce reliance on third-party GPU suppliers.
