New York City celebrated the Knicks’ first NBA championship in 53 years today with a ticker-tape parade through Lower Manhattan’s Canyon of Heroes. The parade began near Bowling Green and traveled north along Broadway to City Hall, where the team was honored after closing out the Spurs in five games to win the 2026 NBA Finals. More than one million fans were expected to flood downtown Manhattan as orange and blue took over the city for the Knicks’ first-ever championship parade.
