To learn more about black holes, Chi-kwan “CK” Chan wants to create the first video of one. He creates simulations and compares them to observational data gathered at telescopes. But these don’t always match up. CK uses Codex to generate new algorithms to test. It would take him ten days to create ten new algorithms. With Codex, it takes just a few minutes, making previously impossible simulations possible.
