This is why I insist that women have their own bank account, credit card, and investment accounts! If you’re a SAHM you can have a spousal IRA and a brokerage account. Your husband should be regularly contributing to these. If you depend on someone to feed you, you are vulnerable to them starving you. You can have joint accounts but you ALSO need your own accounts.
