When we moved in 5 years ago, this backyard was mostly concrete, a small courtyard with a fountain and constraining brick walls. When we realized how far back our property line actually went, the wheels started turning! What started as a limiting courtyard, eventually expanded into an entire living space to gather for big family dinners, celebrate birthdays, host friends over back to back weekends, and spend long evenings outside together. It’s hard to imagine our home without it now.
