Growing up in a Southern Baptist community in Georgia, Abigail loved dance as well as math and science. After completing high school as a homeschooled student, she nearly pursued a dance-focused undergraduate degree in New York, but instead decided to go to Georgia Tech, where she danced on the school’s team and double‑majored in aerospace engineering and physics.
