Turning my closet into a tornado safe room today. 🌪️ Schools are closed for storms here in North Carolina, so we’re setting up a safe place in the inner most room in our home, (with no windows) just in case. If tornado warnings are possible where you live, here are a few things experts recommend having in your safe room: • Helmets (bike helmets work great) • Pillows or couch cushions to protect heads • Closed-toe shoes for everyone • Flashlights and extra batteries • Phone + portable charger…
