“Our New York City stoop isn’t just steps — it’s where community connections are made,” says @stoopandthecity creator Kristi Hemric. The family builds new themes each season, and neighbors and tourists stop by to take photos and make real-life connections. This winter, the stoop’s ski chalet decor reflects Kristi’s family’s latest interests. “Our family’s winter sports journey began this year. From ice skating to skiing lessons, this year was epic.”
