Last weekend we gathered at Merrimore House to celebrate our Dad turning 70. Instead of one big party, we chose a slow, intentional weekend—long meals, stories around the table, and a menu filled with all his favorite foods, just how he likes it. I kept notes along the way because I realized we didn’t spend a lot of money for this, we instead spent a lot of time planning all of its parts. These are the little details that made our family weekend extra memorable.
