I don't think AI will eliminate indie hackers. It's true that my 10 years of SWE experience has become more and more irrelevant because AI can now do most of it, but looking back, my SWE skills were only a small part of being an indie hacker. The most important part is still solving valuable problems and looking for customers. If anything, AI created a whole new class of problems that are now open for people to explore and solve.
