Thinking Machines just released Inkling, its first open-weights model. @thinkymachines trained it from scratch as a 975B-parameter MoE with 41B active parameters and a context window of up to 1 million tokens. Inkling was pretrained on 45 trillion tokens across text, images, audio and video. It also supports controllable thinking effort and scores 77.6% on SWE-bench Verified and 97.1% on AIME 2026.
