ppl have this weird fascination with stuffing a space full of just random crap. there is so much beauty in emptiness & letting the space breath. e.g. i have floor to ceiling bookshelves with double height ceilings in my place in nyc but 80% of the shelves are empty. i find it kinda beautiful, almost as a metaphor for what’s ahead or maybe what’s not.
