Between 1999 and 2002, multiple DRAM manufacturers pleaded guilty in a U.S. price fixing investigation. Criminal Fines: • Samsung paid a $300 million • Hynix paid $185 million. • Infineon paid $160 million. Several executives also served prison time. The current lawsuit alleges something different.
