Cold exposure is not better when it is longer. The real benefit comes from treating cold as a brief, intentional stressor. In the right dose, that signal tells the body it needs to adapt. That adaptive response is the point. A short burst of cold challenges the system, prompts the body to respond, and helps build resilience at the cellular level. More is not always more.
